Anatomy is a general term which includes the structure of every living thing and there are subcategories included which are human anatomy, animal anatomy and plant anatomy. In human anatomy you study the structure of humans and their functions as well. Physiology and anatomy are much related to each other and they are taught as a single subject in most universities. Microscopic anatomy is the study of anatomic structures which assisted using the microscopes. Microscopic anatomy includes cytology which is the study of cells and histology which is the study of tissues and its organization. Anatomy is considered to be a very important subject because it allows you to understand the structure of any living thing and also the functions of the organs.

 

 

Anatomy is really helpful and a must have thing for detection and for diagnosis of various disease as anatomy is also used to study the function of cells and tissues. The technology is completely changed and now there are new and modern ways to examine the structure. The technology and development of 20 th century include Ultrasound, X-ray and MRI imaging. New innovations and techniques are coming our way and now the study of structures is becoming easier. Anatomy is a very important subject because in any surgery the structure has to be observed before the surgery and for this reason every surgeon should know about anatomy.
