The person who is examined must lie in still position during test because a slight blur in snapping may cause difficulty in studying.

Dye can be inserted into patient's body in number of manners. It may drink sometimes but usually it is injected to any part like veins and/or rectum of joint to view the required part easily. It can also be injected into any part of the body depending on which part is going to be examined.
A CT scan is used to examine all parts of the body including pelvis, belly, chest or a leg or an arm. It can take detailed snaps of body organs like the intestines, pancreas, livers, bladder, adrenal glands, kidney, heart and lungs. It also can examine the spinal cord, bones and blood vessels.
During test, a number of patients report that they feel discomfort on hard narrow table. Contrast given to patients may cause them a metallic taste in tongue and a burning sensation but all this happens for some minutes till the test they are overcome. |
