In gestational diabetes, the same problem occurs
but it usually starts in the fifth or sixth month
of pregnancy and the disease is mostly over soon after
delivery. It occurs to pregnant women when pancreas
stops providing insulin to body because they are blocked
by some other types of hormones present in the placenta.
If a woman had already diabetes, complications can
be higher and in this case either insulin is not building
or if insulin is building then blood cell are not
accepting that.
So, how can one a woman know that is she having diabetes
during pregnancy or not. The symptoms for diabetes
are excessive urination or sudden weight loss or overweight,
nausea, vomiting, blurred vision, and mostly certain
infections on vagina, skin or bladder. These symptoms
appear rarely in gestational diabetes case, so,
doctor check up is also necessary for a woman who
is entering the fifth month after getting pregnant.
If the symptoms are observed by you, you can also
ask your physician about what to do and what not to
do.
In case one has gestational diabetes and she ignores
it, her pregnancy will be in complication and it can
affect the baby inside your womb. So, it is really
necessary to look after it and go for regular checkups.
Series of blood tests are taken by doctors in order
to completely solve this problem. Preventing for symptoms
is not really the solution. You need to prevent yourself
from diabetes for you and your baby. For this, you
need to control your eating habits and sometimes insulin
shots are even recommended by doctors in order to
get safe.
