There are number of causes for the heart burn and
for those who are facing it, they must avoid all those
things which can lead to trigger acid reflux and by
changing lifestyle.
One of the major causes for the heart burn is irritation
in the lower esophageal sphincter or les which is
the valve muscle and food is passed through it before
entering the stomach. Then food is prevented from
passing up because les is closed. As esophagus do
not have protective layer from acid, the stomach acid
travel upward toward the esophagus and forming pain
in les.
There are many types of foods which can become major
causes for the heart burn like chocolates, tea, and
coffee. All these contain theo-bromine which relaxes
the muscle of esophagus to enter the stomach acid
in it and forming pain in les. Alcohol is able to
make stomach acid more and it is dangerous to cause
heart burn as well.
Fatty and fried stuff is another cause for the heart
burn because high concentration of fats can increase
pressure in the stomach and it causes hard digestion.
It can weaken the LES and when eating extra meals,
this concept is same. Other causes may include tobacco
and tight clothing around stomach portion may include
for heart burn.
Avoiding as much as possible the acid contents can
save one from heart burns and it is really important
for one who is suffering with heart burns to consult
a doctor. Some medications can overcome the problem
of weaken muscle of LES to relieve heart burn. Women
at time of pregnancy have this problem number of times.

treatment.
