Neurodevelopment Disabilities

Neurodevelopment disabilities or neurodevelopment disorders are also known as brain development disorder or disorder of neural development. Basically the meaning of this term is the injury or impairment of brain or of the central nervous system.

Psychologically it is defined as the condition of a abnormal brain where the person affected by this disease is not able to perform simple and basic everyday tasks correctly. People affected from this disease are emotionally and mentally abnormal and this disease affects their learning ability and memory. In most people the neurodevelopment disabilities are observed in the early years and if not treated promptly and correctly then the person can become abnormal and this disease can inflict their learning ability and social behaviour.

The bad thing about this disease is that the causes behind this disease is still unknown, researchers have researched on this disease but so far they are unable to point out the cause of this disease. Some researchers suggest that the reason of this disability is the genetic passing through metabolic diseases. This disease is passed to the child from his parents. The metabolic and genetic disorders are hard to diagnose in the newly born baby. The infant may look healthy and the disease do not affect the health of the baby until the child starts to interact will its surrounding environment.

Other reasons of neurodevelopment disabilities are may be the immune disorder. For some reasons the immune function over reacts and starts to attack the brain tissues. This may lead to abnormal movement of the body and emotional disturbance. According to different researchers following may be the causes for the neurodevelopment disabilities:

• Infectious diseases
• Nutritional deficiency
• Physical trauma
• Environmental toxic
• Toxic and antibiotic medication
• Severe deprivation disorder

The basic symptoms of neurodevelopment disabilities are deficiency in communication skills, unusual eating behaviour, repetitive behaviour, insomnia, and sensitive to sound etc.
